The idea is when you're a hitter you have enough things going on where you don't want anything distracting you. Pitchers aren't supposed to have any type of equipment that could distract a hitter from the ball. The band aid makes a little more sense than the wrist band because the band aid is close to white but still both are dumb. Particularly you only get this when the pitcher has something white on their gloves or a batting glove on under their glove or something of that nature. As I said that made a little more sense because it's close to white but still it's not that big a deal it's close to skin color as it's supposed to be.
