I listen to rock, hard rock, metal, heavy metal, and prog rock...It never gets old to me.

That's more than one genre brah. Metal is by far the most diverse type of music too, the sub-genres are endless, I think there is 300 for metal and rock?

The question is flawed imo. There are many sub-genre's within a genre so you aren't exactly listening to "the same ish over and over again". Take hip-hop for instance, There are multiple sub-genre's that are very different from each other. Some examples include: alternative hip-hop(Blu, MF DOOM, etc.), old school hip-hop (KRS, Kool G Rap, etc.), crunk (Soulja Boy, Lil Jon, etc.), trap (Jeezy, TI, Bun B, etc.), chopped and screwed (DJ Screw, etc.) hyphy (Keak Da Sneak, E40, etc.), mainstream (Jay-Z, Eminem, 50, etc.), jazz hip-hop (ATCQ, De La Soul, etc.), underground (Tech N9ne [maybe not so much any more lol], Apathy, Reks, etc.). The point is you can easily listen to only one genre and still not get "bored".

I like to be very diverse when in comes to music, I can appreciate everything for the most part. I listen to Rock, Metal, Hardcore, Punk, Ska, Pop-punk, emo, screamo, pop, jazz, blues, r&b, hip-hop, rap, classical, alternative, grunge, 80's etc.

I think you can find good music in every genre, you just need an open mind. There is always going to be bad "mainstream" music in said genres that turn people off, you just need to look harder.

My favorites- Hardcore/Metal/Punk

Least favorites- Country, Rap, and Techno
