ChosenOne
The Lakers will monitor "amnesty" situations to add to their team. Both Baron Davis and Rashard Lewis are candidates that they would be interested in signing that may get waived by their current clubs. RealGM I kinda like the idea of Baron Davis in a Laker uniform, that could really workout well.

Newman
I like both of these potential additions. If playing for the Lakers doesn't motivate Davis to play well, I don't know what will. Lewis can play as both a 3 and a 4 and him and Lamar playing together would cause defensive problems like what happened with Hedo and Lewis in 2009. AboveLegit
Don't expect Rashard to be amnestied. If Davis comes cheap, which is expected, then the pickup would be solid. He knocked down the 3 ball at a career pace last season, and can still create opportunities off the pick & roll. He is injury prone, but this is a shortened season, so I don't think it matters a whole lot. And if you're not convinced with his three point shooting, it's not a huge deal anyway because the Triangle is gone. With all the weapons on this team, he will get open looks and will continue to playmake, something Steve Blake and Fisher are incapable of doing. ChosenOne
PLEASE NO Lewis understandable. But why no to Davis? He would be the best point guard on your guys roster if signed imo
Art
Baron Davis would be a great fit, Shard could do well.
?QuestionMark?
I don't think Rashard gets to LA. If I understand the new amnesty waiver wire, with cap space can bid on players that have been amnestied. So if Rashard gets waived, a team like the Nets with cap space can put a bid for him at 5 million and only have to pay him that 5 million. He's overpaid now, but if they can get him on a smaller 4-7 million deal, he'd be a nice bargain. So I doubt he gets to LA. He'll get picked up before. Baron, though, could sneak by. I don't know many teams with cap space that need an overweight PG. But for LA, as fat and out of shape as he is, he's still an upgrade over Fisher. If he's willing to play for the minimum, I'd like to have him.
