The minute this deal is done he will be a Chicago Bull, you can bet the house on that." Waddle: Are you sure because they had the opportunity to sign him last year and passed? SAS: "I'm telling you he's coming to Chicago. I'm telling you he's coming to Chicago. I mean Reinsdorf, Paxson and those boys can change their plan, can change their mind, but McGrady is planning on being in Chicago the minute this lockout is over. Is that good? I think they have noting to lose in signing him since they have a hole a 2 gaurd to be addressed but if I was with the Bulls I would be looking at younger 2 gaurds to pair with D-Rose like Arron Afflalo. I think if T-Mac can stay healthy he can help them out alot but I would still keep my option open for other players. Built Ford Tough Posted November 27, 2011 Report Share Posted November 27, 2011 T-Mac was never much of an off the ball player even in his prime and was basically useless in Detroit before the Pistons played him at the point (where he ended up playing pretty well). Assuming this is true and he will end up in Chicago, what makes them think it is a good idea to put a player who needs the ball to be productive on a team with arguably the most ball dominant player in the league? Guru Posted November 27, 2011 Report Share Posted November 27, 2011 (edited) I wonder where that Point-forward guy is at these days lol Regardless, it will be interesting to see how the Bulls would use him in their offense. This team was simply amazing on defense last year but on offense they seemed like they were just "watching the DRose show" at times . Maybe another offensive weapon could change that.
