Built Ford Tough
On Sunday, the NBA released a general breakdown of how its 66-game regular season schedule. The regular season will begin on December 25th and end on April 26th. The playoffs will commence on April 28th and a potential Game 7 would be June 26th. Each team will play 48 conference games and 18 non-conference games. All 30 teams will play games on three consecutive days on at least one occasion, but no more than three. Back-to-back games in the playoffs will be possible in the second round. http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/216786/NBA_Releases_Breakdown_Of_Accelerated_Schedule#ixzz1eyoj7Lyj This sounds similar to what I had expected. If the Finals go to a Game 7, it is going to make for a very quick turnaround from the Finals, to the draft to free agency. Should be a very exciting week. GamerGuy
Fewer non-conference games will make it easier on the players travel wise, which is a good thing. Back-to-back-to-back games will be tough, but having so many games to watch during the week will be awesome. ^_^
Lkr
will this impact things like TNT having the double header on Thursday nights and having the only two games?
