magicbalala245
No matter how badly Paul wants to join forces with Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire, it seems clear that he realizes he can't get to New York via trade this season. As a result, his new favorite destination, I'm told, is the Lakers.
fish7718
I'd love for him to go to LA and be 1 and done and come to NY, that'd be amazing.
Owner Real Deal Posted December 8, 2011 Owner Report Share Posted December 8, 2011 I'd love for him to go to LA and be 1 and done and come to NY, that'd be amazing.Knowing the Buss family, there's absolutely no chance he comes here without first agreeing to an extension. I'm 100% sure of it.

He also wouldn't be one and done also if he came here in LA. He would love playing here in LA with Kobe and depending who is gone either Bynum or Gasol the Lakers will have one of them left to make a potential run at Dwight Howard this season also. Flash
Well to be fair I don't think he's going anywhere without signing a long term extension.

Flash
Well, Golden State would do it, as long as they can trade Ellis (instead of Curry). A CP3/Steph Curry backcourt with a guy like Chandler at the 5 would be sick. Honestly a package with Monta/David Lee doesn't sound too bad if I'm a Hornets fan. Especially if LA doesn't want to offer up Gordon. Edited December 8, 2011 by Flash

Especially if LA doesn't want to offer up Gordon.Yeah, it's not that bad of a package...except, I think Golden State wants to keep Lee. If there's no extension agreement, the Warriors will go as far as dealing Monta for him...but that's it, and I'd probably stick to my guns as well. Knowing that CP3 could take a hike after the season's end? He has been eyeing New York, and I wouldn't give him a chance to leave, at least for a few years. It would be hard to part with Monta, in that scenario. I'd probably shop Ellis and see what else I could get for him first.

Apparently he's open to playing in Golden State if they bring in Chandler as well. I guess they had a great relationship back when Tyson was in NO I think that's when they made that little run almost to the WCF right? CP3/Steph/Dorrell/Udoh/Chandler is a playoff team in the West if they can get anything from their bench.
