There i s no guarantee we can get Nene.

Rockets clear about $3.5M with this deal, leaving room to offer Nene a deal starting at just under $13M/yr.

RT @LarryCoon NO can't send out just CP3 ($16.4M) & get back Lakers Odom, Rockets Scola, Dragic & KM ($31.1M). They have to send more out.

Okafor?

13 million/ yr?

I think Nene would jizz if he saw a number like that and most teams can't even come close to matching it. Its funny that the Rockets do this right after McHale came back from Denver.

He's getting the same contract offer from Denver, if not more.

Lol, why do I feel like Heat fans were making these same type of posts last year? I have no issue with him going there, or even Dwight. Its just odd that these teams are handing these guys to LA when there are better deals to be made out there.

I find it funny that Odom was always "underrated" and Kevin Martin was a "pretty damn good scorer" in the league, while Scola should've always stayed in Houston, and Gasol "took a Memphis team to 50+ wins and the playoffs by himself" for years on OTR...until they are being traded. Now, suddenly, they are all scrubs.

Sounds to me like the Hornets want a TEAM, and not just a star player with the same group of guys around him. That CP3 experiment worked out pretty damn well last year, right?

And, more people were pissed off at LeBron, for his actions on TV...but you know this already.

It was not immediately clear, sources said, if three-way trade involving Hornets, Lakers and Rockets is merely snagged or in jeopardy

Owners were irate in Board of Governors meeting with Stern, livid that the league-owned Hornets were allowed to make Paul deal, sources say.

The NBA is now pushing New Orleans GM Dell Demps to pull the plug on the trade and keep Chris Paul, league sources tell Y! Sports.
