Owner Real Deal Posted December 9, 2011 Author Owner Report Share Posted December 9, 2011 sam_amick Sam AmickThe root of it on the Nets side, according to two sources, is alleged meeting between Dwight and Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov on Thursday. sam_amick Sam Amick League source tells SI.com that it's New Jersey and Houston. magicbalala245
If these tampering charges are true the Nets have [expletive]ed themselves over for Dwight Howard.
magicbalala245
My source within the Orlando Magic with knowledge of team's dealings says, "These tampering charges are real." Nets have officially [expletive]ed themselves over for Dwight Howard. Howard has not demanded a trade to New Jersey and the Nets have not had direct discussions with Magic about a deal, sources say Chris Mannix has just made it official. By Nets meeting with Dwight last night the Nets have screwed themselves over. Edited December 9, 2011 by magicbalala245

Universe
Explain please. New Jersey screwed themselves over by not getting Dwight with these tampering charges and now Dwight could be dealt elsewhere.First off, nobody knows if the deal is off. Secondly, the package for Dwight was great. Getting a 23 year old center to team up with his close friend Anderson, along with first round picks in an era of basketball dominated by super teams. Personally I can't even see Nets winning it all with the Dwight in the lineup. Of course the lineup would be different and we'd be a playoff team but at the end of the day, Magic lose Dwight no matter what by the looks of it.
