Dr. Feelgood
Trail Blazers star LaMarcus Aldridge will miss one to two weeks because of a recurrence of a heart condition called Wolff-Parkinson White Syndrome, interim general manager Chad Buchanan said Friday night. Aldridge missed the final nine games of his rookie season after having a procedure to fix the condition, which causes an irregular heartbeat. Each season, Aldridge has tests to monitor the condition. This is the first time since the initial 2007 diagnosis that he has to be treated. The news comes on the same day that Brandon Roy and Greg Oden also suffered medical setbacks. Roy informed the team he will retire because of a degenerative condition in his knees, and the team announced that Oden’s recovery from microfracture surgery had suffered a setback. http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/index.ssf/2011/12/another_blazers_setback_lamarc.html Well this day [expletive]ing sucks....
