Dash
Strange move after Billups went public about not wanting to play for the Clippers or any team that wasn't of his choosing. Its not a bad move though if the Clippers' bid wasn't that high.
AboveLegit
I wonder what happens to Eric Bledsoe and/or Mo Williams.
Dash
Mo will probably be traded, he's a decent sized expiring so maybe they get something back for him.
JYD
Don't really get the move as of now, don't think Chauncey would want to play for them and I don't really even see him fitting in well, wouldn't they rather play their young guards Bledsoe/Gordon and let them develop more? Hmm. Whatever. Glad Billups won't be in the East.
Dash
WojYahooNBA Adrian WojnarowskiThe minimum amnesty bid on Chauncey Billups deal had to be $1.3M. Says one GM: "I'm told there were multiple bids." Clippers had highest.
Flash
Clippers have gone from one my my favorite teams to now my most hated franchise...Is there any doubt they did this just so Miami or LA couldn't get him?

Why would the Clippers care about blocking the Heat? Not in the same conference and extremely unlikely to meet them in the finals.
Check my Stats
Billups would be stupid to not want to play there.

Small market trying to stop the big markets from getting even better. I wouldn't put anything past these owners who run their teams like shit. ChosenOne
I'm surprised the Lakers didn't grab him he would have been the best PG on the roster, and then they could have focused on Dwight entirely.

Sħãlïq™
Mo ain't going anywhere. Chauncy Billups as a starter and Mo Williams as the backup. When was the last time the Clippers had such a solid rotation at PG? Maybe, a motivated Sam Cassell and pre-injury Sean Livingston. Not as solid ON PAPER, but it's the last decent one I thought I'd mention. It all depends on Billups, and THE ONLY piece of evidence does not point to a promising conclusion.
