Need4Sheed
The Philadelphia 76ers are eager to part ways with fourth-year big man Marreese Speights and rumor has it the Nuggets are interested in the former Florida star. Ken Berger reported that the Nuggets are willing to deal a second round draft pick for Speights.Speights , who is only 24 years old, has a lot of potential with great size (6-foot-10, 255 pounds) and athleticism. He also has great touch offensively, with range on his jump shot. He is a solid shot blocker, but struggles on defense.Speights has a career average of 7.2 points and 3.7 rebounds and has one year left on his rookie deal worth $2.7 million. http://nugglove.com/2011/12/13/nuggets-wait-on-nene-pursuing-speights/
Owner Real Deal Posted December 13, 2011 Owner Report Share Posted December 13, 2011 If they are losing Nene, and K-Mart is overseas (and getting older), it makes sense. Denver needs all the size they can get.
Phightins
Makes sense, he doesn't fit on the roster at all, with all of the other bigs returning, plus Vucevic. Honestly, good riddance.
