Guru
Great pick up for the Lakers. Partially fills that huge hole that trading Odom left.
Owner Real Deal Posted December 13, 2011 Owner Report Share Posted December 13, 2011 SpearsNBAYahooF Josh McRoberts to sign two-year deal using mini mid-level exception with @lakers, source tells Y! Avg 7.2 pts, 6.2 rbs w/Indy last season. It's actually a good signing. He doesn't take bad shots, he's not that bad of a defensive player, and he's athletic. We could've gotten him for less...maybe. However, we still have two TPE's.
Check my Stats
Terrific pickup for a team sorely lacking bigs. McRoberts should get better there too.
Dr. Feelgood
I hate this signing...because I hate the Lakers and like McRoberts. He'll fit in nicely with them for sure.
Owner Real Deal Posted December 13, 2011 Owner Report Share Posted December 13, 2011 It's funny how many Lakers fans are disappointed in this. It's not always about the home run deal. Even if we get Dwight, we need to fill the roster with players that can contribute.
kingfish
Im guessing hes going to be starting at PF on Christmas. Unless we pull off some deals.

Built Ford Tough
^ Damn, looks like a talented kid. Vid makes me wonder how come I never noticed him..? To be fair, a mix can make anybody look talented. To prove my point, I give you Joey Graham, future All-Star: Seriously though, he is a good hustle, energy big. He just happened to be redundent with Hansbrough on the roster, since the two of them give basically the exact same things to a team. He isn't ever likely to be a starter or anything like that, but he will definitely have a successfull career as an energy big.

2000GT-R
Good pickup by the Lakers. The Lakers can later trade him for someone like Mayo if they get Millsap or Howard. Another good move by Mitch.
?QuestionMark?
Nice pickup but as of now this is a step backwards. LA still needs a big or two in case Bynum has his annual injury where he misses 20+ games. Some more speed in the backcourt is now desperately needed. And another player that can create his own shot off the dribble. Mitch needs to pull off some of his magic.
