Built Ford Tough
ESPNSteinLine Marc Stein HoopsHype's own @BarriHoopsHype confirms Rudy's Denver-bound. Mavs known to still have high hopes for Brewer but Denver in hunt for him, too ESPNSteinLine Marc Stein ESPN sources say that Denver covets Mavs swingman Corey Brewer as well and are trying to expand the deal to land Brewer with Fernandez ESPNSteinLine Marc Stein Fernandez yet to play for Mavs after draft-night trade but wants to move elsewhere now that Mavs added Lamar Odom/Vince Carter/Delonte West ESPNSteinLine Marc Stein Sources tell ESPN that Mavs are in advanced discussions to deal Rudy Fernandez to Denver Nuggets for future draft considerations With West, Carter and Terry all on the roster, I can understand the Mavs dealing Fernandez. I'd play all 3 of them over Rudy and you just know that if he doesn't get the playing time that he wants, Fernandez would throw a fit. EDIT: They also got Brewer: ESPNSteinLine Marc Stein Done deal: Mavs agree to send Rudy F and Brewer to Denver for future second-rounder, according to sources with knowledge of trade Edited December 14, 2011 by Built Ford Tough

Newman
Looks like Denver will be able to keep their depth after all.
Dr. Feelgood
i was hoping we keep him i like rudy Trust me, this is fantastic. You just got rid of one of the most inconsistent players in the entire league.
andreusito
Hopefully Rudy fits in and gets his minutes. Watching him play with Real Madrid the past few months in ACB and Euroleague he has confirmed he's still a very good player. Minutes and probably a higher tempo gameplan would be perfect. andreusito
Fernandez has said in the Spanish media that he's "very enthosiastic" after receiving a call by George Karl at 5 AM in the morning in which they talked and Karl told him he had asked for him concretely and that his role would be "at least as a 6th man" taking JR's minutes.
