Sħãlïq™
Was impressed that blake showed some glimpses of defensive potential when he had to rotate to guard bynum and kobe. if he learns to be solid on defense he will probably score a lot of points from steals and forcing turnovers. hope cp3 recovers by wednesday vs the mavs. we can win without him vs the nets and at utah. Owner Real Deal Posted January 15, 2012 Author Owner Report Share Posted January 15, 2012 Not really worried. We went 2-2 against them in 2009-10, before winning our championship...and that was when they were without Blake Griffin. Both are new teams with new offenses, Lakers with a new coach. It should take us longer to figure out our offense, since it all depends on Bynum passing the ball out of the low post. The Clippers have it a bit easier, beating teams with their athleticism (Griffin and Jordan are freaks, and they made Drew and Pau look like they were 50 years old), so they really don't need much time adjusting. The Clipps can win a game or so against us again, not a big deal. I think that all changes by April/May.
Makaveli
Clippers size and especially their athleticism up front is giving a lot of teams problems it seems. Definitely killed us the other night but with a pair of 7 footers it shouldn't be this big an issue for you guys.Well, the Lakers are 1 of 2 teams who have already played 14 games early into the season. The Clippers game was LAL's 4th game in 5 days, so i could only blame tired legs for not hustling and getting outrebounded.
