Bulls guards Derrick Rose and Rip Hamilton are still out of action due to injury. Rose will miss his sixth consecutive game due to a sore groin and Hamilton will miss his 10th consecutive and 33rd of the season, this time because of a shoulder sprain. Hamilton is closer to returning to duty than Rose. “He’s making progress every day,” Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said of Hamilton. “He’s doing everything in practice except for contact, but we are not doing contact in practice.” Rose has been limited mostly to shooting. “He’s running now, doing the shooting, he’s going step to step,” Thibodeau said. “In Derrick’s case, we want to make sure he is completely healthy.”
The Raptors will play for the first time the last two seasons without guard DeMar DeRozan, who suffered an ankle sprain in the final minutes of the Raptors’ game against New York Friday (...)
