Sportsguy9695 Posted December 26, 2011 Report Share Posted December 26, 2011 The Buffalo Bills stopped Tim Tebow’s march to the playoffs cold Sunday at Ralph Wilson Stadium after he threw a career-high four interceptions in Buffalo’s 40-14 win over the Broncos. All four of Tebow’s interceptions—he had just two on the season coming into the game—came in the second half, a stark contrast to the closing ability that has generated national buzz surrounding the quarterback. Instead of his sixth fourth-quarter comeback, Tebow essentially handed the game over to the Bills, finishing just 13-of-30 passing for 185 yards, one touchdown and those four picks, a rating of 35.4. “(It’s) probably safe to say that,” Tebow said, when asked if it was the worst game of his career. “We weren’t able to execute on third downs well enough and put ourselves in a bad position, then tried to force to catch up.” Coach John Fox didn’t sound as if he’s lost faith in Tebow, explaining the miscues as “a couple of misreads" and Tebow himself kept an upbeat attitude—perhaps not a surprise—despite the loss. “My confidence is just fine,” he said. “I have to do a better job of not giving them opportunities.
