Art
Howard recently expanded his list of preferred future destinations, adding the Clippers to a list that already included the Nets, the Mavericks and the Lakers.“He’s been watching them a lot. He’s intrigued by the Clippers,” said the source, who is privy to the trade talks that have taken place between all of the aforementioned teams. The most likely scenario that would land Howard in Lob City would be an offseason sign-and-trade deal.SheridanHoops Kurt Helin: Report: Magic want veterans, not to rebuild after Howard http://dlvr.it/12Vkj9 #PBT #NBA about 20 minutes ago Read more: http://hoopshype.com...l#ixzz1hpuZZbER]If the Lakers reach the point that they're willing to give up both Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol in a three-way Dwight deal with the Rockets, Orlando could conceivably come away with Bynum, Luis Scola and Kevin Martin, with Gasol landing in Houston as he would have in the original Paul trade. That would undoubtedly be a strong trio to start over with, in addition to shedding Turkoglu and perhaps Duhon, who are both signed through the 2013-14 season at a combined cost of roughly $45 million. But here's the thing: L.A. might not get to that point. If the Lakers are unwilling to give up both Bynum and Gasol, as some insiders suggest, that trade concept will never progress to an active discussion. TheNotoriousBANG
LA would be stupid to give up both Bynum and Gasol
Warren2ThaG
If we get Dwight with giving both Bynum n Pau, I wanted a PF in return too... Maybe Big Baby.
Dash
The problem is we don't get to sign Nene after getting Pau, but at least we get our cornerstone guy.
kingfish
Were not giving up Bynum and Pau, nor have Orlando even asked for that deal. These reporters are so stupid and have absolutely no credibility.
Check my Stats
I don't understand why you guys are so reluctant to give up those 2 for Dwight... sure it sets you back a bit (not as much as I feel a lot of people think), but in terms of value, LA easily comes away the winner... when you can get a top 5 player without giving up your best player, you do it, worry about everything else after. Dwight-McRoberts-Ron-Kobe-Fish is a 50+ win starting 5 still. Think of those teams Dwight was winning those games with.... LA is still a contender after the deal... Pau is close to being valueless, and Bynum is inching his way there as well with each injury he experiences.
