Owner Real Deal Posted January 2, 2012 Owner Report Share Posted January 2, 2012 The 72-10 record, because of the duration (1.5 months more) and the fact that you play ALL opposing conference teams twice, and almost ALL of your conference teams four times. The 71-72 Lakers won 33 consecutive games, the longest winning streak in pro sports history...but would a 33-0 record be better than 72-10? This is assuming you're a team that's capable of a 72-10 (or 60-6) record. Plus, the rest of the league will tire quicker in that 66-game season, and the best teams (your team) will take advantage of that. When teams are getting rest, more time to practice, and more time to watch film, they are going to find ways to beat you, and they'll have the legs to pull it off.
