I can see the Clippers stealing the division from the Lakers, but I dont see how the Lakers will miss the playoffs

One of my friends said the other day that the Lakers would be lucky to get the 8th seed in April. Idk what his problem is, maybe the Lakers beat his favorite team or somethin, idk

Philly can sneak up on the Celtics to win the division if the big 3 gives out sometime after the all-star break. The easy finals pick is still Miami, despite some weird losses.

I don't even think you can classify the Sixers as sneaking up on the Celtics anymore. At the beggining of the season you could say that, but not now. They are, quite simply, a better team than them at this point. I realize they haven't had a terribly difficult schedule, but they have proven that they are one of the best teams in the East.

They don't have the star power that the C's do, but they are basically better in every aspect. Better defense, better offense, more athletic, better on the glass and arguably better coached as well, depending on how you view Collins. Personally, I think he is an awesome coach and that is no slight against Doc.
