Legacy Posted January 17, 2012 Report Share Posted January 17, 2012 (edited) We used to do debate tournaments back on JBB and they would always have a good amount of success. One person would run it and give a topic that two posters would debate on within a 48 hour time span. Sometimes there would be either judges, everyone votes for who they think won, or the person that runs the tourny gives points for each post and the winner is decided then. These tournaments are always fun. We have a great amount of knowledgeable posters on here and there are tons of topics that can be debatable. Would you guys be interested in something like this? We had debate tournaments at another site and it was always interesting, and we got people at this site who want to debate as well.
