Sħãlïq™
BLEDSOE BUILDING TOWARDS RETURN Second-year point guard Eric Bledsoe, who has been out since October while recovering from surgery on a torn lateral meniscus in his right knee, practiced today. He is continuing to work toward a return in early February and according to Del Negro, Bledsoe may spend some time in the Development League with the Bakersfield Jam. “We’re talking about seeing if he can maybe go down and play a couple of games in the D-League and give him some experience in terms of just getting his mind right,” Del Negro said. “He was out practicing today for the first time in a while. We just got to build it [his knee] up. We want to be smart about his injury and he needs some game minutes under his belt before we throw him back out there.” Source: Clippers official site

But there aren't a lot of minutes available http://www.latimes.com/media/photo/2012-01/67668229.jpg Clippers guard Eric Bledsoe is expected to be back in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nuggets. (Luis Sinco / LA Times / Nov. 20, 2010)Slowly, the Clippers are starting to become whole. They got point guard Chris Paul back for Wednesday night's game against the Lakers after he had missed the previous five because of a strained left hamstring. Second-year point guard Eric Bledsoe, who has been out all season recovering from right knee surgery, played in the first of two games Thursday night with the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League. Clippers Coach Vinny Del Negro said he wants to Bledsoe to get his confidence back and to see how the knee reacts to playing in a game. "I just think he needs to go play in some games and free his mind up a little bit of the injury and just get in game condition," Del Negro said. "He's such a tremendous athlete that it's not going to take him long. But I think it's a good opportunity for him to get some consistent minutes and get some consistent play to get back the feel of playing." Bledsoe will play Friday night with Bakersfield and is expected to join the Clippers in Denver for the game against the Nuggets on Sunday.Read More
