i am batman u die now
BOSTON -- Indiana Pacers President Larry Bird's patience has been severely tested over the past three years. The Pacers have a bright future, but it's uncertain if Bird will be making the decisions from his office at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. As was the case last season, Bird is not sure if he will remain team president beyond this season. People close to him say he constantly changes his mind on what he wants to do. Bird and Simon have a year-to-year handshake agreement. Simon has said Bird can stay in the organization as long as he wants. "I will decide that in July," Bird said. And just as he has the previous three years, Bird isn't about to make a rash decision on his future without thinking it through.http://www.indystar.com/article/20120127/SPORTS04/201270336/1062/SPORTS04
Owner Real Deal Posted January 28, 2012 Owner Report Share Posted January 28, 2012 Posted a bit more of the article...took me a bit to realize what the title actually meant, because the article doesn't lead into that until the very end, lol. Not sure why he's doing that, though. Feels like Bird is the type of guy that wants to be part of a winning crew...and who doesn't? Only one team wins it all every season, though, and the Pacers aren't going to be the 80s Celtics.
