bigdog17k
He may sit out this game. His knee is bothering him and is swollen as of today. Damn, that sucks. I hope he plays, it was gonna be the only reason I watched this game.
Warren2ThaG
Clippers rookie Blake Griffin remains questionable for Tuesday's opener against the Lakers, seeking a second opinion on his sore left knee."The first [doctor] said, 'We know it's a bone bruise,' " said Clippers coach Mike Dunleavy. "It just depends on the swelling going down, the comfort level, as far as him being able to play or not."---http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/sports_blog/2009/10/clippers-nba-blake-griffin-1.html

Lone Wolf
Griffin may be out for 6 weeks with a broken kneecap (ouch! I've had kneecap problems before). http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4597949 Edited October 27, 2009 by Lone Wolf

The Regime
Our bench blows, that is why we need Odom coming off the bench and not starting. Come back Pau!
Owner Real Deal Posted October 28, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted October 28, 2009 C - MbengaPF - PowellSF - WaltonSG - VujacicPG - Farmar How the hell do you play that five for 6-7 minutes without a substitution? That was just stupid. We lost a 15-point lead because of those guys. Terrible lineup, with no offense and no defense. At least stick Kobe or Bynum in that five, even Artest, even Odom. Someone. Starters came back in, we went back up by 10. Just maintain and stop letting Craig Smith drop baskets on Josh Powell, and we'll be fine. Anyways, LO playing very well. When Pau comes back, our bench will get back on track. Edited October 28, 2009 by Himuki

Diesel
LETS GO CLIPPERS!! What an opening night it would be if they pull this off.
Owner Real Deal Posted October 28, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted October 28, 2009 Phil needs to stick a lineup out there that allows Bryant to defend Gordon. We're already allowing Marcus Camby and Craig Smith open looks all game long, and Chris Kaman dunks. Odom and Bynum need to wake up on defense. Kobe has missed a few layups, too. He's gotta fix that. Other than the shooting woes, Artest is playing fine. Great, great defensive effort out there by him tonight, and he's not doing so bad distributing the ball. ChosenOne
Artest is doing exactly what they need for him to do, play defense and pass the ball when covered. Bynum is a beast.
