Cleveland's Finest
So far, which team would you guys say has been the most surprising? This can be good/bad surprising. I'd have to say the Philadelphia 76ers. I thought they would be in the race, but never did I see this coming. Sure, the schedule may have been a little light, but they still won those games. The improvements on Hawes and the bench make this team look like the East's version of Denver. Other teams I would consider would be the Clippers. I didn't see them clicking this well this early. They have the physicality, experience, athleticism, and the potential to got on a run in the playoffs. In terms of most surprising in a bad way, I'd say the Knicks. When you have Amare and Melo, who have made the playoffs before coming to New York pretty much annually, they have struggled to look like formidable team. I think they'll turn it around though, and this is kind of like the Heat's start early last season. Other teams would be Atlanta and Houston. Didn't see those teams improving as much. ChosenOne
I gotta go with the Denver Nuggets, they having been playing great basketball all year. They really don't have a star (Gallo isn't there yet) but they are making it work mainly due to their coaching and depth. They have 6 players in double digit scoring and two others with over 8. This team relies on its unselfish play and if they continue to play like that they will be a team feared come playoff time.
fish7718
Utah Jazz, they got a pair of dominant big men but the rest of the team is young and Devin Harris is clearly not what he used to be.

DunkinDerozan
New York Knicks. If you were to tell me they would be 6 games behind .500 and only 1.5 games ahead of the Raptors i'd just laugh. Even without Billups I still thought they would be atleast close in the standing with Boston. Especially after adding Tyson Chandler. Amare and Melo have both just been off this year. Even with Melo averaging 23 PPG he is still shooting really poorly and way too often. I think it would be a bad decision to trade Carmelo like i've heard a bit over the past few days. He is still an Allstar and every team needs one to be a contender. They still might climb back up to around .500 and challenge for a playoff spot though, who knows.
