Nitro
Got this from RealGM... More than a couple of Clippers players commented that Chauncey Billup tore his Achilles and is "done" Chauncey will be evaluated tomorrow, but it was obvious as he left on crutches that the injury is major. Clipper coach Vinny Del Negro wouldn't comment much, but the vibe in the locker room was grim...To clarify... Chauncey Billups likely tore his Achilles, ending his season if the MRI proves that to be true... https://twitter.com/#!/stevekylerNBA

Sħãlïq™
Well, this opens the window for JR Smith to come in and take the 2 spot.It also opens up more PT for Mo, Foye and E-Bled: Mo Williams, Randy Foye ready to step up for ClippersWith Chauncey Billups injured, team will turn to the reserve guards. Meanwhile, Billups will have an MRI on Tuesday http://www.latimes.com/media/photo/2012-02/67904164.jpg Clippers guard Chauncey Billups is helped from the court after hurting his left Achilles' tendon late in the game against the Magic on Monday night in Orlando. When the season started, there had been so much talk about all the guards the Clippers have. Now with starting guard Chauncey Billups' suffering a left Achilles' tendon injury Monday night, the Clippers have lost a key player, meaning they will have to turn to reserves Mo Williams and Randy Foye. Billups was injured during the fourth quarter of the Clippers' overtime victory over the Orlando Magic. He will undergo an MRI exam on Tuesday, but it looks as though the 15-year guard will be out for a while, if not the rest of the season. Either Williams or Foye will start. Williams had nine points against the Magic. He played all five minutes of overtime and made two free throws late in OT. He has started one game this season for the Clippers. Foye didn't score against the Magic, missing all three of his shots. He played just six minutes 40 seconds, but his playing time will increase with Billups out.Source
800LoanMart
Got this from RealGM... https://twitter.com/#!/stevekylerNBA This is an unfortunate set of circumstance for the Clippers, but opportunity can be found. Mo Williams or Foye will have an opportunity to play in a starting position. The Clippers have the strength and chemistry as a team to overcome this loss and continue to develop and grow. The true colors will show as the Clippers rebound from this unmistakable loss.
