Universe
The Nets announced Thursday afternoon that Keith Bogans has "a complete tear of the deltoid ligament as well as a fractured left ankle" and will undergo surgery on Monday. His season is over. Bogans injured the ankle near the end of the fourth quarter of Wednesday's loss to the Pistons, attempting to step a Greg Monroe drive. He was signed just eight days ago, played in five games, and scored 21 points for the Nets. http://www.netsdaily.com/2012/2/9/2787623/bogans-to-have-surgery-on-ankle Wow! Newman
They just cut him for Andre Emmett. Marc J. Spears @SpearsNBAYahoo CloseAndre Emmett goes from playing 1on1 in Alcatraz last year to 10-day contract with Nets. Last played in NBA '04-'05 season. Keith Bogans cut. Don't remember him being any good at that time, but the Nets do need a healthy body.
