Warren2ThaG
No Pau again, much tougher then the Clips on opening night. Have to play good all around to beat them.
deestillballin
No Josh Howard + Not playing the way we need to (we sure as hell didnt the last game) = big win for the Lakers.
Owner Real Deal Posted October 30, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted October 30, 2009 I'm not worried about missing Pau here. Odom is the ideal defender for Dirk. He's long and can chase him around on any spot on the floor. Hell, we could go small sometimes, and place Ron at power forward. I expect Bynum to have a HUGE game against Gooden. Maybe we'll see a lot of Dampier, but that only hurts Dallas' offense.

ChosenOne
This is going to be a good game, Dallas will give the Lakers a great run but come up short near the end because Dirk will choke from deep.

bigdog17k
Pau makes this team run. Yeah, it's pretty evident how important he really is now.

Cleveland's Finest
I'm stunned right now. Dallas really up 18? I know the Lakers have gotten unfair calls, but Dallas has done a great job in getting Terry open looks and Barea has made some nice shots. This Dallas team looks so more competitive than last years. Last year Dallas would lose to LA with not as much fight. This shouldn't be an upset. Dallas made a lot of moves and they got a lot more size this year. Also the fact that Gasol isn't playing takes away one of the Lakers primary talents. However, I'm surprised at how Dallas hasn't let LAL come within their lead for awhile now. Legacy
Is it because Gasol is not playing? How are the Lakers getting killed?
kingfish
Kobe is playin lazy and pathetic, not getting anything started for other and just standing around. He needs to step it up without Pau. Also were just playin scared on defense ever since the refs startin calling bs.
Cleveland's Finest
Dallas deserves this imo. Despite a 10-0 run by LA, they held it together and put together some nice possessions. Marion and Kidd have good chemistry. And Josh Howard is out, so that makes this that much more impressive.

Owner Real Deal Posted October 31, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted October 31, 2009 Kobe and Ron are the only two Lakers playing defense, and Shannon Brown is the only Laker getting anything on offense. There's no way we win like that, against any team in the league. Reminds me of the Pistons game we lost at home at the beginning of last season.
