And your Selig accusations are ridiculous lol. You realize he was fighting against Braun in this case, right?

I don't really care too much about this to be honest. I just took the topic and common about Selig from another site.

We both know Braun got away with it because he's Jewish........... .

I feel bad for him thought as the ball was really dropped in this case. It sucks that most people will still have doubts about him for a long time.

Yep. Even though he is innocent, this will likely follow him for his entire career. Never should have gone public in the first place.

Well, he still failed the test and tested positive. He's getting off on a "technicality"......aka he plays for the Brewers. .

Again, Selig works for MLB, not the union lol. Why on earth would he have wanted to lose this appeal? Terrible PR for him.

And it's very possible that this "technicality" is the reason the test was positive, but we will never know. I'd definitely like to think he is innocent.

Bud Selig wanted the suspension to stand... so it wasn't him.

Also, Braun's been innocent since Day 1... I see some serious lawsuits coming soon.

He's a cheater, plain and simple. He got off on a "technicality". There's a reason he didn't dispute the drug test, but rather the process.

You know he's a cheat as does everyone else.

[expletive]ing up with chain of custody the way they apparently did here is not just a "technicality".

He disputed the original drug test results by taking another test... AND passing it.

Also, once Braun found out that his sample wasn't handled in the proper way and that it could have easily been tampered with, he offered the MLB a DNA test. The DNA test would be evidence one way or the other that couldn't be argued. MLB turned that down.

They know they [expletive]ed up and that Braun is innocent. Him providing DNA would just make them look worse than they already do.

According to ESPN's Karl Ravech, Ryan Braun won his PED suspension appeal on a revelation that a courier did not take his urine sample immediately to FedEx because he thought it was closed on Saturday nights.

The sample sat in the courier's fridge for two days, violating the normal protocol for the handling of PED tests. It might sound like a ridiculous out for Braun, but it's an absolute must that the testing process is conducted according to the policies that have been agreed upon between the players' union and the commissioner's office. Braun will be in camp on Friday

Yes. And Braun has damn good lawyers who knew the circumstances on how tough it is to win one of these hearings. They were able to find this "loop hole" to win the appeal and avoid the suspension.

Some fans will still view him as guilty as he got off on a "technicality", but the reality is that he is innocent regardless. Both him and his lawyers were simply smart enough to realize they couldn't win this any other way.

So, what the hell are you talking about then. You know that he got off on a technicality or whatever you want to call it. He didn't get exonerated of what he was accused of because of the evidence. He got off because the MLB dropped the ball.

He's a cheater and a disgrace to the MLB. Everyone knows he's a cheater and won't be buying the whole, "Oh, but the appeal worked for him, so he didn't cheat" garbage. Everyone knows he got lucky as hell.

Cheater,

Cheater,

No. He's still innocent. He was just smart enough to realize how he had to handle the case from a legal standpoint.

God you're naive.

He's a cheater. He found a garbage loophole, and got out of it. After hearing the statements from the handler of his test, it's 100% obvious to any objective person that Braun is a cheater.

You're just a homer that wants to say, "Well, he's not a cheater because they over-turned his case on some garbage", yet that has nothing to do with him actually failing the test.

Also, Braun is a lying sack of shit about the whole Fedex ordeal. The handler couldn't jus drop the box of at any Fedex. He had to go to one that was open, and there weren't any in his a vicinity.

I'm looking forward to Braun getting sued. He's a cheating POS.

Don't care about baseball, the Brewers, Braun, or anything related to it...but for what it's worth, I do know (for a fact) that drug tests can come back inaccurate (showing positives) if they aren't done within a certain time frame. My mother has worked with them for years, and once upon a time, I messed around and tested that out, waited a few days, and it made me look like a cocaine addict.

I'm going to assume that PED testing could be the same way, especially since they have that written rule (which is placed there for a reason).
