Owner Real Deal Posted November 2, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted November 2, 2009 So unpredictable. Charlotte is on and off all the time. I should probably say if the Nets have Harris, the Bobcats win. If Harris is out, Charlotte loses? You'd think the opposite, but you never know, haha. Klashnekoff
Need Terrence to bomb this threes. I was surprised watching him hit them his first few games .. the guy has big time talent and a big time game. Most definitely i think teams slept on Terrence Williams in the draft and hes actually top 5-6 talent. We'll have to see if Harris plays tonight though. Like i say to most people, if Harris doesn't play, we don't win.
Poe
Halftime and the Bobcats have 8 total field goals made, and the only players to make two or more are Gerald and Augustin.

Who needs field goals when your opponent is a mess and you can smother them with defense? On another note, when is Charlotte going to play a team that's in the middle of the pact. So far they've faced arguably the two best teams in the East and arguably the two worst, smothering the bad teams and getting smothered by the good ones. They need to play the Raptors or the Sixers so people can get a good gauge on who they are.

Plus the Bobcats were down 8 points at the half.

New Jersey was murdered on the glass, probably because they were missing Boone, a lot of Williams, and Yi was injured as well. Offensive-minded teams that don't play defense can still win 55-60 games, make the playoffs, get to the second round or WCF. Defensive-minded teams that can't score the ball (Charlotte) can't even tackle 45 wins in a weaker conference. You're going to have to score at least 90 a game to make the playoffs. The last team to score under 90 per game and STILL make the playoffs? The 2003-04 Rockets, who won 45 games and lost 4-1 against the Lakers in the first round. Charlotte is averaging 79.75 PPG in their first four, and they just finished shooting 19% in the first half of their game against a disabled Nets team. Charlotte's defense won't carry them very far, ever, until they learn how to score.
YugoRocketsFan
I think Charlotte is a decent team they just dont have that scoring prowess and a decent bench, they are a good wing player away from being good.
Teletopez
That... was... terrible. We didn't score for a period of over 10 minutes, scored 7 in the third, blew a 14-point lead, had 25 turnovers, shot 37% from the field, and the one day that our defense is seemingly effective, our offense is weak. And Yi is on his way to an MRI after injuring his knee yesterday.
