Built Ford Tough
Those of you who had Syracuse going far in the tournament, you might want to reconsider your brackets because Melo won't be allowed to play. Syracuse sophomore Fab Melo will not play in the NCAA tournament due to an eligibility issue, the school announced Tuesday afternoon. Melo did not travel with the team to Pittsburgh. No. 1 seed Syracuse will be without Fab Melo for the entire NCAA tournament.CAPTIONBy Jim McIsaac, Getty ImagesSyracuse also said due to University policy and federal student privacy laws, no further details can be provided at this time. Melo averaged 7.8 points per game and a team-leading 5.8 rebounds per game. He blocked 88 shots this season. The second-ranked Orange are 29-1 with Melo in the lineup. He missed three games in late January/early February due to an academic issue. What does this mean for the tournament? Well, Syracuse, the 129th-best rebounding team in Division I men's basketball, will be without its 7-foot center and leading rebounder. The Orange's most glaring weakness just got weaker. Syracuse's potential third-round game vs. Kansas State and Sweet Sixteen matchup against Vanderbilt are suddenly looking like possible upsets. http://content.usatoday.com/communities/campusrivalry/post/2012/03/syracuse-fab-melo-ineligible-for-ncaa-tournament/

DunkinDerozan
First round exit FTW. They would be the first 1 seed to exit in the first round ever. I have them losing in the third/second
