magicbalala245
NBA sources tell Local 6 Sports Director David Pingalore that if Magic center Dwight Howard does not sign a contract extension, he will likely be traded to either the New Jersey Nets or the Los Angeles Lakers before the trade deadline. The deadline is Thursday at 3 p.m. According to those sources, the Nets are offering Brook Lopez, Kris Humphries, MarShon Brooks and two No. 1 draft picks in exchange for Howard. The Lakers are offering Andrew Bynum, Derek Fisher and Metta World Peace (formerly Ron Artest) for Howard, Hedo Turkoglu and Chris Duhon. Those same sources say there is a holdup with the Lakers in terms of taking on the contracts of Turkoglu and Duhon.
Flash
How you don't take Brookyln's package idk.
Flash
IMO you take Brooklyn not just because of Brook but because of Marshon Brooks and the picks you're getting.
Lkr
Unless Otis Smith is smoking the shit Jim Buss smokes when it comes to Bynum, I don't see how you don't take NJ's deal

Otis Smith is a dumbass. I just don't see Dwight committing long term to the Lakers.
Universe
I really hope we don't get rid of that much if he actually wants to play for the Nets. Can't wait till this is over though.
Flash
According to Michael Wallace (Heat Index) Dwight says he's told the Magic he wants to stay the rest of the season and its on them to roll the dice. I'm guessing that means pull something off.

Teletopez
Just saying, I could throw a bunch of possible scenarios into a hat and pick one out, and that would be more credible than a report from Pingalore. DunkinDerozan
The Lakers deal is shit. They would have to put some first rounders into that for me to even listen. And World Peace and Fisher shouldn't do anything bu bring the value of the trade down.
TheNotoriousBANG
Andrew Bynum will be better than Brook Lopez will ever beyou need to trade quality for quality that's why the Nets deal sucks, you never trade a superstar for quantity

MWP is useless and Fishe is not much better. Bynum is obviously a top 2 or 3 centre in the NBA, but its not worth is. Orlando is trading Howard who is the best centre in the NBA, and Hedo is sill better then world peace and fisher. The only logic i can see for that deal being fair is the LA is taking a huge risk if Howard leaves, and Orlando has to take what they can get instead of just letting him walk.
