March Madness 2012 Discussion Thread

Ok, now it's time for me to turn the game on. :o

It doesn't look like anything serious. He is walking around.

And he is checking back in.

The best part about that whole thing? Nobody gave a damn that PJ3 got banged up on that play and had to leave the game as well.

Could you imagine if Perry Jones played with the same kind of heart and intensity as Quincy Acy? Dude would probably be the best prospect since LeBron James.

And yeah, Davis is clearly not at 100%. I can understand putting him to see if he can run it off or something (although, personally, I wouldn't) but it is clear that he should just take the rest of the game off. Baylor has no shot in hell at coming back anyways. The only chance they have is if Heslip gets hot from three, but he can't even get open against Kentucky's defense and his only shot attempt was a forced 3.

Seriously, Perry Jones has been a no show. You couldn't tell me he was a top NBA prospect based on the game. He looks like the 3rd best guy on the team.

To be fair, he has been getting doubled every time he touches the ball..

This is why PJ3 is so infuriating as a prospect.

Why can't he play like he has over the last 6 minutes or so on a consistent basis?

I don't think he believes he can do it for an entire game when clearly..he can. He's abused Davis twice on the block already.

Don't get me wrong, Kentucky fully deserves the big lead they have because they have definitely been the better team.

But the level of physicallity that Baylor is allowed to play with is nothing compared to what Kentucky is allowed to play with on the other end.

Oh absolutely. Baylor's chances ended when Kentucky got into the bonus at 11 minutes off of mostly touch fouls from Baylor.

If Baylor wasn't getting called for every little touch on UK this would've been a game in the second half. Aaron Craft would've fouled out 6 times by now with this type of officiating.
