Built Ford Tough
Sam Amick @sam_amickWilson Chandler's deal with Denver is four-plus seasons (this one and four more) for $37 million, with no options, his agent says. Sam Amick @sam_amickWilson Chandler is expected to play in Denver's home game against Dallas on Monday, for you fantasy folks out there. So pretty much it is for $9.3M a season. Not a bad signing for the Nuggets given their roster. Much more than that report on deadline day, though. Still, it adds some nice depth for the playoff push. Anyways, it should be interesting to see how they handle the next two years. They have McGee as a free agent this season and Lawson next year. If they plan on keeping them both, and obviously they will keep Lawson, they will have to go into luxury tax and is that something that Kroneke will be willing to do? fish7718
Probably on par for what he is worth, I wonder if they will look to trade him next year since Afflalo and Gallo have been playing great this year...
The Lone Granger
Definitely a great job to get Chandler locked up. He gave them some grace when he was allowing the Nuggets some extra time on the Friday-evening deadline that he had originally set for them to get him signed long-term. Great move, and he's going to be a major threat out West for Denver. To think they were already deep and now they're bringing him in. DunkinDerozan
very curious to see what they do about mcgee. Especially considering he thinks he's worth like 8 million or something
