Flash
Per Woj Turiaf agreed to terms with us today and should be at practice tomorrow.
Owner Real Deal Posted March 21, 2012 Owner Report Share Posted March 21, 2012 Now the Heat need to trade Wade for Howard, and sign Shaq, to complete the ABDC hip-hop dance crew of those two, LeBron and Ronny.
Owner Real Deal Posted March 21, 2012 Owner Report Share Posted March 21, 2012 I'm assuming the Eddy Curry experiment is now considered a failure, by the way. Miami needs a lot of help up front. Not really sure Turiaf will help them as much as they may think, because he's really not that stellar on either side of the ball, but at least he brings the energy. Flash
Curry > Pittman to be honest. I'd get rid of Pittman and sign Ryan Hollins if we could as well.
fish7718
I think this is a great pick up, Turiaf was a great help defender and good rebounder in NY, he just doesn't provide much offense. As long as you play him in short spurts he will provide great high energy minutes.
Flash
From what I've read he is great at creating rebounding opportunities for his teammates whether it be from boxing his man out to tipping potential rebounds. I'm definitely excited for what he can do. Not only that but there's no way he's as offensively challenged as Joel so that's good.
SRV
I think Joel Anthony is the worst offensive player in the NBA....so I am fine with Turiaf.
Abro
We don't need someone who is "stellar" on either side of the ball.. He is a good shot blocker, rebounder, and can actually somewhat play offense. He's a better offensive player than Anthony so I'm happy about this signing. He's nit going to play a ton, but our front court is much more solidified now than it was. And no the Eddy Curry experiment has not failed. They just realize that it could take up until next season to make it possible. They obviously want to win now and Turiaf their chances are better. Curry > Pittman. Obviously..
