Playoff Upsets?

I don't see a lot of potential for any upsets other than Atlanta over Orlando maybe. If the playoffs were to start today, maybe Dallas over the Clippers? Not trying to be a dick to you though Shaliq, just putting it out as a possibility ;)

Yeah, I won't be surprised if the Clippers get eliminated in the first round.

Whoever the Knicks play. That team is so schitzo that they could upset Chicago or Miami and then lose in the next round.

Playing better but just don't see it. I think if the Knicks played Orlando they'd win, but Miami I think they'd get swept, and Chicago may go 5 or 6, but they'd ultimately lose.

No theyre too old.

Spurs average age for rotational players 27.83

Lakers average age for rotational players 28.36, I guess the Lakers are way too old to complete as well as the old Spurs.

Mavericks- 32.31

Bulls- 27.47

LAC- 27.86

Magic- 28.32

Heat- 28.53

Their best players are all old though.

Their best player is Tony Parker, who is younger than Dirk Nowitzki (and is only 29). DeJuan Blair is 22. S-Jax is younger than Jason Terry and Shawn Marion. Nobody on the Spurs is older than Jason Kidd. Manu has only played 20 games.

Dallas was too old to win last season, also. Their best players were all over 30, one 37 years old, a couple were 33-34.

Tony Parker might be younger than Dirk but don't act like he's young or something. He's got a lot of wear and isn't your average 29 year old NBA player.

Not to mention, they lost in the first round last year. I'll believe it when I see it with San Antonio these days.

For having a lot of wear and tear, he's still pretty good. He dropped 42 on Westbrook and the Thunder not too long ago.

Tony Parker is having One of the best years of his career. Tim Duncan as of late is playing better than he had in the past 2 years. Manu, while getting hurt early in the season is playing very effenciently. His scoring may be down, but his overall offensive game is the best I've seen since 2005. You really can't compare this years Spurs to the team that was beat by Memphis. Stop repeating the same old bullshit and watch a few more games before making these radical judgements. This years Spurs team is younger, deeper, and has more talent than last year.

Weren't they the best team in the West last year throughout the regular season?

Weren't they the best team in the West last year throughout the regular season?

Was Tony Parker playing at a top 10 MVP level last year?

Was Tiago Splitter playing like he is now last year?

Did the Spurs have Kawhi Leonard, SJax, Diaw, and Mills last year?

Do the Spurs have a limp Dick Jefferson logging 30 minutes a game and contributing absolutely nothing on defense and very little on offense right now?

Manu Ginobili is currently hurt?

Antonio Mcdyess at age 103 is still playing center?

Seriously, have you watched more than 5 Spurs games within the last 2 years? Stop basing shit off of last year. If this was last year the Heat would lose in the finals and Dirk would get his 2nd ring.

You just listed reasons as to why they're not going to UPSET people. They're a good team, 2nd in the West. Them winning isn't an upset lol.

Chill the [expletive] out too lol no one is attacking your team.

The "Spurs are too old to win" thing is kinda hilarious to me. I don't understand the logic. Like RD said, Mavs were older/veteran team last season...and also, no back to back's...day's off should only help them.
