Universe
Couple reporters are saying this is one of the best teams since '93 and we are predicted to be 8th. Shows what a mess management made this team for years.

Universe
Kinda pissed I gotta miss opening night working the elections but sounds like we might be missing a couple regulars. Looking forward to the Gorges-Campoli pairing. They looked smooth in the few times I've seen them in preseason together. It's also a big break for Diaz who I figured would start the season in Hamilton but is ahead of Yemelin in the depth chart.
Universe
Nothing better than a holiday and a nice win. You can change the jerseys, name and location but you are still the Atlanta Thrashers. Montreal should wait till November to play their starters because we are having horrible luck. Cammy, Campoli and even a player we pick off waivers is already injured.
Universe
Lost another D-man in Hamilton after he got crushed head first into the boards. The positive about it was the way his teammates stuck up for him after the hit which is hard to come by in Montreal. You could see Fitzy watching the replay from the penalty box and as soon as the hit happened on the big screen, he almost jumped out of the box to get him before he was escorted out. In for a very long season.
Universe
I know it's not Martins fault that we are losing but it's a kick in the nuts knowing we let Kirk Muller, Guy Boucher and his entire Hamilton staff just walk away. I like that they promoted Randy Cunneyworth and Randy Ladouceur. I don't know if Randy is ready for a head coaching position but Hamilton has just been pumping out quality coaches of late. Built Ford Tough
I think some of the blame should be on Martin. He simply can't make in game adjustments and no matter what happens during the game, he always has his teams play the same way. Obviously not all of the blame should be put on him since they are injured, they aren't the most talented team around and Price hasn't played all that well, but he definitely deservses a fair amount of blame. I also agree with you about losing Boucher and Muller. Boucher is already a superior coach than Martin (in my mind, at least) and I think Muller could definitely become a great coach as well. Martin isn't bad, but I've never thought of him as more than average.

I just wonder if they were scared off by Muller because of Guy Carbonator. Kinda same situation but Muller seems to really connect with his players more than what I have seen with any assistant coach in our system which could help him if Nashville ever starts looking for a new coach. Universe
In a game we deserved to lose, refs screw them out of a win. This is going to be a fun season of hockey!
Built Ford Tough
In a game we deserved to lose, refs screw them out of a win. This is going to be a fun season of hockey! Don't tell me you are going to blame the loss on the no call like 30 seconds before the Kulemin goal. Yeah, the puck hit the netting but its not like that directly led to the goal. Montreal cleared the zone and got the puck in the attacking zone after the puck hit the netting and before Toronto scored. I could understand if the Leafs scored right after that play, but blaming that missed call on the goal after the Habs cleared the zone and had possession in the offensive end of the ice is just looking for an excuse if you ask me. The puck was clearly out of play which would lead to a line change and in entirely diffrent set of events. Don't be silly and say Montreal cleared the zone because you can't deny that it would be completely diffrent but like I said Montreal deserved to lose but got hosed at the same time. Check my Stats
The Habs hosed themselves (so many bad/dumb penalties). Besides, we would have had a draw in your end, and that is arguably as good, if not better of an opportunity for us to score. You probably wouldn't have even been in the game if Gionta didn't behead our goalie.
Universe
How is that funny? I never said the Canadiens didn't play like shit but that's a hosed call. Hmm, a faceoff in our own zone or a goal? Which one to choose from...
Universe
Big win last night. Not really too different then some other games this season except for the easy ones were stopped and we got some lucky bounces to go our way. Universe
Bad luck yesterday for the Canadiens. Muller moves up and stays in the East. Jared loses Hunter in what could be his final season in the OHL and Patches gets three games when a Canadiens player got hit nearly the same way at the start of the season and still is out. What's Montreals response? Call up the French Hero after 13 games.

Universe
After letting go Guy and Kirk, we ourselves don't have a coach now. Again Montreal has stuck themselves into a position that has no gain. An interm head coach and a roster full of big dollars.
