The word tanking gets thrown around a lot, but it is more of a management thing. Even in the last 2 years for the Raptors, I've never actually seen a them legitimately try to lose a game or react negatively to a win. This video suggests that the players are actively trying to lose. That, or they had money on the game and Thornton just cost them their bet.
