Lkr
It is safe to say everyone was shocked by the way last season ended, but none of us would be shocked if the Lakers went home early this year. How far do you seriously see them going? I don't think we can compete with OKC or SA in a 7 game series.
Owner Real Deal Posted April 26, 2012 Owner Report Share Posted April 26, 2012 I'm crossing my fingers that Dallas somehow beats the Thunder, that Utah wins a couple against the Spurs and makes them fight a bit...then, the Grizzlies take out the Clips and go in and knock out SA. If we're going to win it all, we need to rely on the pieces falling into place. We can't beat the Spurs AND the Thunder...I think that will take too much out of us, especially if Denver is our first round opponent (they will want to run). Hard to say, really. I wish I knew how Kobe really was, health-wise.
Flash
I think the WCF are a legit chance for the Lakers. Like I said in the Power Rankings thread, I think OKC is starting to get gassed. They'll get by Dallas and the Lakers realistically shouldn't have any trouble with Denver, so LA will be the more rested (those games Kobe missed are a great thing in the long term)/more playoff proven team against OKC. I think the Lakers can take them out in 6 BUT Bynum is going to have to be the one who carries them in that series. Kobe will get his but I think Bynum has to be more involved than usual if they wanna win it. Edited April 26, 2012 by Flash
Newman
I got the Lakers losing to the Thunder in the Western Semis, barring a meltdown by Westbrook.
Check my Stats
I think the west is wide open. The east... well we all already know.,
Lemon
Out 2nd round. OKC has too much going for them. If we get past them, we can beat SA in 7.

ChosenOne
NBA Title or bust. I can't see the Lakers beating the Spurs, or the Thunder in the west. And if they somehow do manage to do that, then i reallyI don't see them beating either the Heat or Bulls in the finals.

Kobe is never going to be 100% healthy though. At best he will be 80% healthy.
