Sun Tzu
Come on, the Suns need to go on a run.
misterx
We're gonna get blown out because we've had like 4-5 games in 8-9 days (just guessed)and coming off a game, while the Lakers just had a what, 4 day rest? lol usually i get the opposite... "oh they had a couple days off theyre a little rusty that is all"
Owner Real Deal Posted November 13, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted November 13, 2009 Wow, didn't expect this. Amare is 2-15 from the field, Richardson 2-9, and the Suns have no answer for anyone on the floor, including Josh Powell. I think Richardson and Amare are just getting frustrated, because neither of them can handle Kobe and Bynum in the post. Both are getting dominated, and they are having trouble back on offense because of that, and also because both Kobe and Bynum are playing good defense, as is Ron Artest (again). We had 42 points in the paint in the first half. No Gasol. I love this team.
Sun Tzu
We also aren't getting many assists. We screwed this game up. Damn. I hope we can recover from this and the next time we meet the Lakers we can limit Kobe.

Owner Real Deal Posted November 13, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted November 13, 2009 Anybody see Steve Nash after he fouled Fisher for that 4 point play? What was he doing? Glasses? Bynum is just too big for Phoenix, and Kobe is pissing everyone off on the Phoenix roster. He's been playing like the Lakers are down 40. kingfish
Yep we wont have to worry about PHX in the WC bracket. Now what to do with those Nuggies and Spurs.

Jammin
I knew the Suns would lose this, and I'm not bitter at all, but how Kobe gets away with his elbows and pushing and shoving is beyond me. I know there is competitiveness, but using illegal moves in a subtle way doesn't make them legal. It pisses me off, no matter who they're playing, to see Kobe slide under the radar, because if anyone else in the league tried to gain position like Kobe does they'd get called nearly every time. But I just want Amare to get back to his... even half his form. I wish he wasn't so sloppy, but those injuries have taken a toll on him recently. He should only be playing 25-30 minutes tops until he is ready to come back to his full form.

You're getting confused with J-Rich and Dudley lack of strength in defending Kobe in the post and interpreting it as illegal.
Be Like Mike
Kobe is putting a LOT of work into the post. I like what he's doing, but it's pretty physical. Can't wait to get Gasol back. Im curious to see if Kobe gets those same touches in the post when Pau comes back.
Sun Tzu
Im curious to see if Kobe gets those same touches in the post when Pau comes back. That's what I wanna find out. I think he will be limited in the post when Pau comes back. When Odom is playing the four he tends to move out a bit rather than when Pau is playing he plays inside more. Owner Real Deal Posted November 13, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted November 13, 2009 There's no way he spends all of that time in the post. Gasol and Bynum will be in the five, so Kobe will go back to perimeter play until Bynum comes out for Odom. You'll still see him going to work down there, though...but it won't be for the 40 minutes he's posting up right now (because I rarely see Bryant do anything else with Gasol out). This is the most I've seen a guard post up by the way....and I mean most ever. I'm really not used to that. Jordan did his share of it, but even he had mixed in perimeter play with Longley and Rodman on the floor in that second three-peat. Honestly, this might be my favorite year for Kobe, as an individual (not in team success). I did love 2005-06, though.
misterx
LMAO!...ill still say he sux balls and ill say it now too....did u ppl forget gasols not active? ppl actually think bynums gonna get all those #s with gasol in the lineup? lmao...watch and see......hes getting good #s, i admit it; ill even admit he surprised me a bit but when u have such great passers and play makers like kobe in ur team, and ur versing a defense-less phoenix suns team who especially played horrible today and ur 7 feet, it aint that hard to do lol he jus needs to be open under da rim n thats it, i still see him as a soft [expletive] pansy C...sorry but thats just my opinion lol this C's fan at a message board i go to on Bynum's game Edited November 13, 2009 by X-Phylez

The Regime
Bynum has a huge game, we limit Nash, Amare, and Richardson; now that's a solid game.
Legacy
Teams seem to be intimidated by the Lakers.
