Owner Real Deal Posted May 14, 2012 Author Owner Report Share Posted May 14, 2012 Gotta root for the green, because they are the only team out East that can make for a good ECF with the Heat. The Sixers would get murdered.
The Regime
It's been a old fashioned shootout in the last couple minutes. Edited May 15, 2012 by Simba
Cobb
Wow, that was an interesting way for the game to end.
Phightins
Splitting on the road to kick off the series is ideal, but considering how awful that one loss was, I can't help but be a bit annoyed. I'll settle for this though. Oh yeah, Lavoy needs to start over Spencer in game 3.
The Regime
That was a really good call on the illegal pick. Boston sets as many illegal picks as team in the league.
Built Ford Tough
Gotta love how the game was iced on an illegal screen by Garnett. So fitting. I really don't understand how Barkley and Shaq can say that was a bad call. Just because they never call it doesn't mean it wasn't an illegal screen. Shaq is trying to say that Garnett's feet were set and that makes it ok, but his feet weren't set. He was moving into Iguodala and bodying up on him while setting the screen. He took a step or two into Iggy after the initial contact
Flash
I didn't know Iggy was so clutch. He took and made every big shot for Philly last night aside from the 3 by Holiday.

Aside from the Holiday 3, Turner hit the last 2 field goals down the stretch...

Phightins
I love Shaq, Barkley, and the fans everywhere saying it was a bad call because "it never gets called late in the game" blah blah blah. Hollinger put it best. The illegal screen was called because it was, well....illegal. And if they called it every time Garnett tried it, we'd have won by 30. Also, I wouldn't exactly say Andre is "clutch" offensively, but he has certainly come up huge at the end of our last two wins.
