ChosenOne
Pau shouldnt be on ball there but instead should be looking for a shooter coming off a screen getting free.

Lemon
Lakers had to do everything right and scott skiles gave us a few free points with Fisher on Kobe. Game 4 is tomorrow and thunder is younger. I'm pretty skeptical but hopeful
Dash
Mike Breen needs to stop reminding me that the Lakers had 42 throws.

Guru
I'm not taking anything away from the Lakers but those fouls on Harden at the end were ehhh. The Lakers did a great job of hitting the FTs. Also, I don't give a [expletive] how good of a shooter Durant is... you have to get a better look than a contested shot 30 ft away from the hoop. I can't say the refs favored one side over another... there were questionable calls all game on both sides.
Owner Real Deal Posted May 19, 2012 Author Owner Report Share Posted May 19, 2012 Third time in 10 playoff games this year that Kobe has had more than seven free throw attempts (the other two games, he had 11 in each). He has to get to the line more. Kobe hasn't had 18+ free throws in a game since April 2010 (two years ago), aside from tonight. LeBron has had four of those games since putting on a Heat jersey. Owner Real Deal Posted May 19, 2012 Author Owner Report Share Posted May 19, 2012 http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/topic/28846-rd1-gm2-dallas-at-oklahoma-city Not a word said about OKC's 39 FT's. SMH. The best part about this is that you can sure tell the hate is bleeding through after Game 3, because the complaints are in favor of a team that is #2 in FTA/G and #1 in FT makes, with arguably the most protected superstar in the NBA in Kevin Durant. With the way Kobe and Drew were attacking, it was about time they were getting to the line. Aside from a Harden foul (Kobe coming up the court) that wasn't even CLOSE to being a legit call...the others were fouls, and a few non-calls that were blatantly shown in replays near the end of the game (pushed in the back, being hit across the arm on jumpers, etc). As much as I love the Thunder, as my second team...they are right up there with the Heat as the team that gets the benefit of the doubt when it comes to fouls. I've seen every single Thunder game, home and away, this year (since they are on FSN and NBALP), and a lot of times, it's a bit ridiculous. Built Ford Tough
http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/topic/28846-rd1-gm2-dallas-at-oklahoma-city Not a word said about OKC's 39 FT's. SMH. Hey, I made a couple of references about how OKC gets every call. I actually probably come off as a huge whiner in OKC game threads as I think I've mentioned it in every OKC playoff game thread I've posted in so far. The Thunder are worse. As much as people like to harp on the Heat when it comes to getting calls, they have LeBron, Wade and to a lesser extent Bosh (although he is not nearly the same attacking the basket as he was with the Raptors) who are all going to the hoop on a frequent basis. LeBron and Wade have entire games where they absolutely live in the paint and are attacking on every single possession. The Thunder aren't like that. Durant is a mid range player first and foremost, Westbrook attacks, but not nearly as much as Wade or James, and Harden has quickly become arguably the best player in the league at exagerating contact or simply making it look like there was contact when there wasn't. Good on him because it clearly works, but he gets more BS calls than James does, that is for sure. I used to love watching the Thunder. I remember we had a roundtable article a few years back where I even said they are my second favourite team, and, at the time, that was true. However, I can't say I enjoy watching them nearly as much as I used to and that is even with them being a better team with the growth of guys like Westbrook, Durant and Harden and it is because of how often they get complete bailout calls.
