Owner Real Deal Posted May 18, 2012 Owner Report Share Posted May 18, 2012 Tom Haberstroh @tomhaberstroh@noamschiller Local sports radio lines here in Miami are jammed with Heat fans trashing Wade, many calling for a trade. Stunning.https://twitter.com/#!/tomhaberstroh/status/203492243066195968 Alright Heat fans...let's hear what you think. Wade is already feuding with Spo, in public, and seems to be injured every year (and it changes the way he performs, also). Record without Wade: 14-3Without Bosh: 4-7Without Bron: 1-3 What do you do? EastCoastNiner
He's just not that good, and it's funny it's taken people this many years to realize that. When I say he's not "that" good, I'm talking about in comparison to LeBron and Kobe where people think there's an argument for Wade, but in reality, he's nowhere close to them, and never has been. Jenneral
I wouldn't trade him.. he's already won a championship with the team. LeBron and his pet dinosaur haven't. Wade stays.

Lmao. He was never as good as Kobe and LeBron, but if you are suggesting he wasn't a top 5 player (not sure if you are, but it seems you may be) then that's [expletive]ed up. Also, Wade has always been a dick head. To answer the question, I probably wouldn't. One, he won a title. Two, he basically was the Heat for 7 years, and you don't just turn around and deal him after one bad season. Three, the real NBA isn't a sim league. I would be shocked if he was dealt to be honest. JYD
I liked Wade a lot back when he didn't have LeBron. I'm not saying he did or didn't change his personality, but something about him now, I just can't root for him. Maybe because he went from underdog to now being expected to win every year. Idk. I like watching Wade and LeBron play, so I don't hate like other people do. This could be the biggest overreaction I've ever seen though. "trade Wade?" lol
Flash
Sad that its come to this but it wouldn't be a bad idea to entertain offers. It kills me to say this (shit, just look at my username) but if we get something like Denver got for Melo or make a play for Dwight then you have to look at it. Maybe even look at a S&T for D-Will. Last night was inexcusable. I hate Spo, but that was some real [expletive] shit by Wade. I don't know what's up with him but he flat out quit on us last night. Its the Shaq effect though. Shaq rubbed off on him way too much on and off the court.

SRV
Nope, this guy built the franchise. No one would have come here unless Wade established what he did and won us that title. Has he gotten worse, obviously, he is old and is letting Lebron do the work. What he did last night was inexcusable, its like for moment he said [expletive] everyone and [expletive] Miami, I do what I want. It was clear to me that he was overly frustrated, and he has had a handful of games like that in his career. His way back is to play his game and come out and win us game 4, everything will be forgotten if we come out of Indiana with a win. He might be getting old, but he is Dwyane [expletive]ing Wade, letting him walk away is just stupid. No up and coming player in the NBA right now is better than him (Maybe Durant, but no way in hell we get him), and I am not willing to trade him for another old guy who is not as good as him. Brings me to the point of Heat fans. Most of the are loyal, but the total toolbags that call radio stations don't represent us as a whole. My entire facebook was in agreement that Wade sucked last night, but no one said "[expletive] Wade lets trade him"...most people just give him a pass because he is Dwyane Wade. The fans don't win either way. If we call for a trade we are idiots for letting the guy who built the franchise just walk away, if we want to keep him, we are stupid for letting a guy stay after he trashes the coach and what not.
Teletopez
A significant amount of Florida "fans" (not necessarily majority, but still a lot) are the same fans who appear to begin paying attention to the team in April, so I don't make much of the radio lines being jammed with people bashing Wade. If the Heat were to deal Wade, I wouldn't be surprised if rumors returned about LeBron having his eye on a Cleveland return, depending on who Miami adds to convince him to stay put. NomarFachix
A guy at my work came up today and said he heard the Heat were going to trade Wade to the Knicks for Melo. I actually couldn't come up with any words.

Guru
The only problem with this entire situation is that Lebron will cry if they trade his buttbuddy. No way the Heat trade Wade.
SRV
How in the world do these rumors even start? Does anyone here actually think Pat Riley or Mickey Arison would air their trade plans in the middle of a playoff series? Thats the only source they can confirm a trade rumor from...they just picked up a rumor from the street and put it on blast for the entire nation to listen to. Need4Sheed
This is BS if you ask me. He is looked at as Marino status in Miami. (stated by a few local reporters on the radio this morning) If anything they would be calling for the head of the coach.

Abro
No way in HELL they trade Wade and I don't want them to. Guys too talented, good, and means too much to The State of Florida to let go like that. For God's sake they named a whole [expletive]ing county after him. "Wade county" anyone? No way this will ever happen. I really hope he will end his career in Miami plain and simple. He's been my favorite player since the 04-05 season and I'm stickin with him through thick and thin Edited May 19, 2012 by Abro

SRV
There is no way in hell we trade him, he has no returnable value. I would love if we got like 3 young rising stars or really good young guys, but no one will give us that. Don't think Riley or Arison who enforce the motto of the Heat family would trade the best player in franchise history just for one crappy game and a scuffle with Spo. Like I said, if we win tomorrow everything is fine and we take back control of the series heading home. Also, the people who bother to call a radio station are frustrated idiots who just blurt out stupid thoughts, no one calls the radio station unless they want to start shit. I have never listened to a sports station where people call in to talk positively about a team unless its before the season even starts.
