Dash
Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBAThe Charlotte Observer is reporting St. John's assistant Mike Dunlap has been hired as Charlotte coach. He has an NBA background w/ Denver. Wow, it was less than an hour ago when Quin Synder was named the frontrunner per Woj and they were considering revamping the search and then this comes out of nowhere. A few more tweets per Woj: Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA Also, Michael Jordan doesn't want to pay for a basketball coach. And clearly that's part of hiring Mike Dunlap, a Big East assistant coach. Adrian Wojnarowski Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA Dunlap won Division II national titles at Metro State before Nuggets. Tough, no-nonsense guy. Clearly, MJ wants a teacher with young team.Expand Adrian Wojnarowski Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA Dunlap's considered an excellent X's and O's coach on college level, well-respected in profession. Still, a huge gamble for Michael Jordan.
JYD
Not really a huge gamble for Jordan...he's failed at pretty much everything he's done, he's already considered a terrible executive. He brought in several well-renowned coaches in Brown and Silas and both of them failed miserably. Don't see this being any worse.
