Guru
http://www.nj.com/nets/index.ssf/2012/06/nets_jordan_farmar_picks_up_op.html?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeedWhether the Nets wanted Farmar to pick up the option, though, is uncertain. As the Nets work hard to try and re-sign Williams, who is a free agent, a report earlier today on espn.com said former Net Jason Kidd, who is also a free agent, wants to go wherever Williams goes, to serve as his backup for next season. With Farmar already in place, that may complicate things a little, though having Farmar under contract doesn't mean the Nets can't trade him. In fact, an expiring contract like Farmar's might be a desirable asset the Nets can dangle to other teams trying to clear salary cap space for 2013-14.
