Cobb
Damn, just spent like ten minutes copying and pasting stuff from mlb.com into a thread only to realize one was made already. -_-
trutrojan8
Nobody gives a [expletive] about one little ASG when the NL has won 3 out of the last 4 WS - you know the games that actually COUNT for something, the AL has been on their knees taking it in their gaping butthole. Cobb
One question I have is how the hell David Wright was beat out by Pablo Sandoval for the starting 3B spot. Wright was up 464,549 votes with two days to go!
Lkr
it isn't like the NL wins the all star game often anyway
kingfish
0 earned runs in 23 innings : doesnt make all star team.
trutrojan8
It's funny how dumb baseball fans are. .337 BA, 4th in HR, 2nd in RBI and I'm pretty sure Cargo was like 10th on the ballot before rightfully getting voted on by the plaers EDIT: 2012 League Ranks: • 6th in NL in BA (.337) • 4th in NL in HR (17) • 2nd in NL in RBI (58) • 1st in NL in R (59) • 3rd in NL in SLG (.604) • 5th in NL in OPS (.998) Edited July 1, 2012 by trutrojan8
DunkinDerozan
Would have liked to see Edwin Encarnacion and/or Colby Rasmus make it. Both are having great years for the Jays.

trutrojan8
Even though Chipper Jones is having a little bit of a better season than Harper, does anyone actually thiink its going to be someone other than Bryce who wins the final vote? Phightins
Happy for Chooch. Otherwise I don't care. This isn't worth getting worked up over.
Phightins
Furcal has a .723 OPS.............all star. Fan voting for ya. Plus, the NL shortstop field is incredibly thin, even more so with Tulo hurt and Reyes sucking. I'd have gone with Jed Lowrie, but obviously not surprising the fans voted for the name they know. Cobb
Even though Chipper Jones is having a little bit of a better season than Harper, does anyone actually thiink its going to be someone other than Bryce who wins the final vote?Yeah, it's probably the most intriguing final man vote ever. I voted for Michael Bourn earlier today. While it's tough to vote against an all-time great like Chipper Jones and a guy with all the hype around him like Bryce Harper, the game does count (lol), and I feel as though Bourn would give the National League the best shot at winning. The Regime
4 allstars for the Giants, that's pretty sick. I still think Bumgarner or Vogelsong deserved a spot on the roster.

Cobb
ESPN SC MLB - Braves 3B Chipper Jones named to replace injured Dodgers CF Matt Kemp on NL All-Star team Guess I can keep voting for Michael Bourn, although it's not looking good as he is currently in last place. Cobb
Yu Darvish and David Freese win the Final Vote this year. Still pretty disappointed that Bourn got screwed by the whole Chipper thing.
