magicbalala245
07/01/2012 8:00 PM EST Yannis Koutroupis: A source close to Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum’s camp reiterated that while he is not hoping to be traded, he would not be opposed to a rumored move that would send him to the Orlando Magic in exchange for disgrunted center Dwight Howard. Bynum has long been interested in taking the next step in his career and becoming the featured option, something that is years away from happening in L.A. Playing for the Magic would give Bynum the opportunity to prove himself as a franchise player as he looks to earn a max contract once his current deal expires. Bynum is set to become a restricted free agent at the end of next season. However, he’s eligible to receive a maximum extension through next June. It’s still too early in the process to know if the Orlando Magic have genuine interest in swapping Howard for Bynum and if they’d rather extend him immediately or wait if they did. JMEWLS
I don't mind him. I know he wasn't exactly injured last season but it's gonna linger in my mind. I've mentioned it numerous times around the web, I want to start from complete scratch. I think Bynum alone with our current roster will still get us a 7th-8th seed (the conference is that weak) I'd rather tank a year and get a top pick.
