Make It Naaaashty
I'd ship Gasol and Bynum to ORL for Howard ASAP if I could. I wouldn't trade them both. Nash and Gasol would do solid work off the PnR. Bynum+World Peace should be the most they give for Dwight.
JYD
Gasol looked old to me at times last season when I watched LA. Bynum is an absolute baby with his personality and attitude (although Howard's not better I guess). I think Dwight in the environment with Nash and Bryant would be good for him and he'd go right to work.
Make It Naaaashty
I agree that Gasol looked like his legs were done late in the playoffs but with a 82 game season, he should be able to get a day or two of rest before each game usually which should help him. It'll be interesting where Dwight lands now for sure though.
The Regime
Lakers need to focus on adding some depth. Management needs to make an effort to surround the Big 4 with quality role players. For starters we could add a couple solid knock down shooters.

ChosenOne
Gasol shouldn't be traded at all. Having a pf that can hit the 15 foot jumper is a gem to have along side Nash. Trading Bynum and Artest for Dwight and JRich/Hedo would be best for LA. They need a consistent three point shooting sf.
The Regime
Assuming Sessions is leaving for free agency, the Lakers could still use Calderon for a good backup PG. Yeh no way the Lakers can afford him. Plus it wouldn't make sense to pay a guy so much for a bench role. We have bigger priorities on this roster right now. Edit: We still have his bird rights. The Regime
I wish the Lakers would get rid of Mike Brown. He's going to underutilize the talent that we have on this roster.

Seems like PF's that can hit a 15 foot jumpshot are becoming less and less rare, if that's your only excuse for keeping him that's silly

SRT Spidey
godamnit . one of the most likeable players to one of my most hated teams ,on top of that this puts LA back in title contention . I just wanna see them suck for once : /
Make It Naaaashty
Nash just gave the city of PHX a giant middle finger It's mixed feelings actually. We don't want LA to win but more than anything we wanna see Nash get a ring. For me, I don't care about anything except Nash getting a damn ring finally. It's ridiculous how close he has got in his career.

This team IMO had about two maybe three years to win it all after that is complete rebuild mode. I feel you should keep him and make it work. Check my Stats
Surprising, and a big time price to pay, but this makes LA legit championship contenders again (I already thought they were, tbh). Now that they basically have a coach playing point guard, Brown's offensive incompetencies will be hidden. Safe to say I will be rooting for LA this year, excited to see what Nash does for this team. Check my Stats
Kudos to LA though. Ponied up the cash, and maybe even overpaid (the picks), but they are doing what it takes to make their championship window a little bit wider. Don't think Dwight is necessary, but obviously that would help them even more. Having a point like Nash, whose usage is probably going to go down and he might not look as nice statistically out of PHX, is still going to be huge for that team offensively. Defensively you can live with when you have two legit 7 footers standing at the rim waiting and a defensive specialist for a coach. Paul
Big pickup for the Lakers. He is going to really solidify this team. They have been missing a point guard for years now. I really HATE the Lakers, and this makes me want the Thunder to win even more, but good pickup nonetheless. Trading Bynum for Howard right now would put this team over the top. Talk around town is that Grant Hill is going to sign for MLE or LLE. Got a lot of offseason to go. What if the Hawks traded JSmoove for Gasol now? NashKobeHedo or JRichJosh SmithDwight Might be game over.
