YugoRocketsFan Posted July 7, 2012 Report Share Posted July 7, 2012 Rockets have 4 rookies coming in (Terrance Jones, Jeremy Lamb, Donatas Motiejunas, and Royce White) Should have 3 draft picks for next year again (Toronto's pick, our pick, and Dallas' pick) Have young talent in Parsons, Patrick Patterson, Marcus Morris, Greg Smith,and Courtney Lee still has many years to go. If we sign Asik, and/or Lin we have even more potential. Still have Luis Scola, and Kevin Martin as tradeable assets. Suck for this year... get a top 5 pick. Add that to the already young and talented roster and you'll have a team that will stick together for awhile and keep improving every year. Thats why I really want both Scola and Martin gone. We have the young talent but we don't have enough minutes to go around with them in the mix especially Martin. Right now it looks like we're rebuilding but Clutch has stated multiple times that the endgame may still be Dwight Howard. Before I'd be fine with it but now that we actually have some good young players and draft picks that should make rebuilding a breeze with Daryl Morey as our general manager, I'm against it because we all know that Dwight would likely leave.
