Built Ford Tough
The Celtics and Jeff Green have reached agreement on a multiyear deal, agent David Falk, and president of basketball operations Danny Ainge said told the Globe it will be official Wednesday. Green, 25, missed all of last season after surgery to repair an aortic root but spent considerable time in Boston rehabilitating and even sat on the bench during some home games. That treatment and the fact the Celtics signed Green to a one-year $9 million deal before the injury and did not give him the $5.9 million qualifying offer and then allowed him to be an unrestricted free agent was critical in Green's return. http://articles.boston.com/2012-07-07/sports/32579358_1_green-deal-agent-kendrick-perkins The deal is rumoured to be for 4 years and $36M, although those numbers haven't been reported as 100% correct (at least as far as I know). Almost all of the speculation is that is what the deal will be, though.
Flash
Jeff Green wasn't worth 9 mil a year 2 seasons ago in Boston and he's a huge question mark after coming off of this surgery.

Sħãlïq™
It's now official: The Boston Celtics announced Wednesday evening they have officially signed forward Jeff Green, ending more than a month of speculation over his contract status. Boston and Green have had a handshake agreement in place since mid-July, but nothing became official until Wednesday. Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge and Green's agent, David Falk, maintained during the lengthy delay that the deal eventually would get done, but wouldn't shed light on what was holding up the process. "We are thrilled to have Jeff back with the Celtics," Ainge said in a statement on the Celtics' official website. "Jeff's versatility on offense and ability to guard players out on the perimeter is something that we are looking forward to having on the court this season."Jeff Green's Celtics deal is official
