Poe
LOL, I'm just laughing right now! Â What a game, though. I'm happy the Heat were able to put up such a great fight. They lost by the FT line (27-42). If they only made two more of those, the Heat would have won.

GamerGuy
I will say, we should of done a much better job of building the lead we had and maintaining it. We lost the lead, gave the Heat way too many chances to get back into it and they did. I'm just glad we got the greatest basketball player on the planet to finish the game for us. Brand New
Fisher's shot goes unnoticed. Great shot by Kobe!
Owner Real Deal Posted December 5, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted December 5, 2009 Wade had way too many easy buckets off of those damn screens by Chalmers. Fisher (yes, not the team, but Fisher) needs to fix that, pronto. Wade is too fast for Kobe to push out of that screen and catch him in time, so it's Fisher's job to tail Chalmers until the screen, then jump to Wade before he gets in the paint and at least contest a jumper. Good game by the Heat and Wade, great game and shot by Kobe (and Fisher's three), good game by a handful of Lakers. We have things to fix before we win another championship, just as the other contenders.
kingfish
B do you have any idea where that shot puts Kobe on the all time game winners list? Actually let me rephrase that. I know hes number 1, but how many game winners has he hit now? Gotta be something over 30 I presume.
ChosenOne
I think he actually has one more than MJ now with 27 I think. Trying to find a link.

Owner Real Deal Posted December 5, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted December 5, 2009 That Kobe list you posted doesn't include free throws, but Jordan's list does. If frees are included, Kobe surpassed Michael already. If not, you gotta recount MJ's list, and he ends up with only 20, Kobe with 23 or 24. ChosenOne
Yeah Kobe has hit a [expletive] load of game winning free throws, i dont think it would be close if everything like that is counted.
Owner Real Deal Posted December 5, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted December 5, 2009 I think Kobe has 28 or 29 total, Jordan with 26, including the frees. Without frees, Bryant has 24 or 25, and Jordan has 20.
Poe
yea, yea... Kobe is GOAT and all that, we know we know, just keep rubbing it in   lol
Owner Real Deal Posted December 5, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted December 5, 2009 I actually don't rub in victories. I'm more concerned about the Heat screening Kobe off Wade every play down the stretch, and Fisher not doing anything about it. I'm starting to think that, even though Derek hit that big shot, he's about ready for the bench. He wouldn't have had to hit a big three if he had at least tried to follow Wade out of that screen.
Poe
I was kidding, just to be clear. BTW, I liked what Spoe did with the rotations today. He recognized that Arroyo and Cook haven't been playing well and he benched them both. Despite missing a couple easy dunks, Dorell played well out there today. He's been getting better and better the past few games like he did a couple years ago when he started averaging 16 point and 8 rebounds for 5 games straight before injury.  I am a bit disappointed with the loss, but I'm happy with the way the Heat rebounded from their loss last night, how they managed to compete with a great team like this, and how they are beginning to move forward as a team. Everyone is starting to figure themselves out on the court. It won't be too long before the Heat make a break through
Owner Real Deal Posted December 5, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted December 5, 2009 Haha, I know you were. I just have to clarify things sometimes, so I don't have to hear about it later.

Flash
Well lets hope that it is sometime this season because if it is not I think it is going to be hard keeping him around during the off season. I don't. We're almost guaranteed at signing one big name if not 2 very good guys.  I really think this team could do a lot with Wade as our PG. He passes the ball so well and makes so much happen at the top of the key off those screens. It'd be a tall lineup but Chalmers is too much of a liability right now. The Heat could be on their way to a long winning streak starting with their game at Sacramento, actually. No guarantees, I'm not completely certain or confident about it.
